History about Montra Nilles Kro

Montra Nilles Kro has existed since 1834, as it started with the name Skjoldelev Inn.
From 1952 an innkeeper called Niels Christian Andersen, also called Nille, had a little pub near Skjoldelev Inn. And this started as a summerrestaurant by the country road by Randers-Skanderborg

As the village became less populated, Skoldelev Inn was closed, but in the years after 1954 the inn was opened in the shape of Nilles Kro. In new and beautiful surroundings, and gradually also in new and fine buildings.

With Skoldelev Inn’s traditions in mind Nilles Kro can be a pleasure for the guest as it has been for centuries.

The story behind Montra Hotel A/S

They aimed high and dreamed of the "ideal hotel" where you feel at home.

With the acquisition of Montra Hotel Nilles Kro in Sabro, the adventure of five of the most beautiful hotels in Denmark started. The finest of all in decoration, comfort and, above all, service was sought for and with the creation of a hotel came the emergence of a style: The Montra Style.
